The Narkar family in Cupertino struggled to fully utilize their patio due to sun exposure and limited weather protection. To transform the space, we installed a SunTent OneLouver | Tiltable pergola system that provides adjustable shade and ventilation. The patio was enclosed with sliding glass doors on the sides, creating a comfortable and protected environment. Above the sliding system, motorized zip screens were added for additional shade and privacy when needed. This configuration allows the family to comfortably use the patio throughout the day in different weather conditions. Today, the space functions as both an outdoor kitchen area and a relaxing family seating zone.
